Aged Care experience in a similar role highly advantageous but not essential. Some of key responsibilities of the position include:Cleaning floors, mopping surfaces, washing/scrubbing surface areas, dusting, emptying waste, vacuumingTeam workEffective communicationElder satisfactionAdherence to work health and safety requirementsAbout You ...You will have a flexible, caring, patient attitude and an ability to work in a professional, respectful and proficient manner. You will show initiative in the scope of work practice and commit to continuous improvement.QualificationsWWCC (Blue Card) Working with Children CheckNo formal qualification requiredCertificates in Aged Care/Cleaning advantageous but not essentialSkillsThe ability to accept direction and to work in a team environment with minimal supervisionTo have a basic knowledge of Work Health and Safety proceduresThe ability to work in a safe and respectful mannerThe ability to work with frail and/or cognitively impaired elders and their families within the Accreditation Standards and funding guidelinesGood interpersonal skillsA police check with no disclosable outcome, medicare evidence of current influenza and COVID-19 vaccination is required by MiCare for this position.How To Apply ...Please send a copy of your Resume.
