SESLHD is committed to enabling our community to be healthy and well, and to providing the best possible compassionate care when people need it.To provide clerical and administrative support for the staff specialists of the Rehabilitation and Spinal Medicine Department. This includes data entry, dictation typing, filing, reception duties, responding to patient enquiries, appointment scheduling, billing, stationery and medical supplies ordering, report preparation and other duties as directed by office manager.The primary purpose is to provide clerical and administrative support to the Rehabilitation and Spinal Medicine Department as well as delivering professional customer service to our clients, their family members and carers. Some of the responsibilities in this role include reception duties, referral management, appointment scheduling, billing, dictation typing and other duties as directed by the Office manager.This is a Category B position and while recommended you are not required to provide Covid -19 vaccination compliance or other vaccinations record.Ideal CandidateCustomer service experience with the ability to demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence.Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and ability to liaise with a wide variety of staff and consumers.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team environment.Where You''ll be WorkingPrince of Wales Hospital and Community Health Service is a Level 6 Tertiary Referral Hospital with an inpatient bed base of 370.
