This is an opportunity to contribute to improving access to allied health services in underserved areas while gaining unique and rewarding professional experiences.Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:Assessing clients functional capacity and developing individualised treatment plansDelivering therapy that supports clients to achieve greater independence in their daily livesCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support continuity of careProviding assessments and interventions in diverse environments, including aged care facilities, hospitals, and community settingsEducating clients, families, and support workers on therapeutic strategiesDocumenting clinical findings accurately and maintaining confidentialityAdapting quickly to varied clinical settings and community needs in rural and remote locationsUnrestricted registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Occupational TherapistA minimum of two (2) years full-time equivalent clinical experience as an Occupational TherapistEvidence of at least 250 hours of relevant clinical practice within the past 12 months, demonstrated via a certificate of employment or payslips confirming your roleCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification with a practical assessment componentAbility to remain calm and operate effectively in unstructured, rapidly changing environments.What we offer:Competitive daily pay ratesFlexible locum contracts and placement optionsPaid travel, accommodation, and meals while on placementOpportunities to explore regional and remote AustraliaThe chance to make a meaningful impact where your skills are needed mostApply now!If you meet the above eligibility criteria and are interested in making a meaningful contribution to rural and remote healthcare, we encourage you to apply.Should your application meet the program requirements, a member of our credentialing team will be in contact to discuss the next steps.Aspen Medical values diversity and inclusion and encourages applications from all backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, LGBTQIA+ communities, and those from diverse cultural backgrounds.
