The WIN Network is a diverse media and entertainment group with television as the core business, and other business interests in radio, film and television production, telecommunications and specialist engineering.About The RoleWe have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced State Editor to join our team. Reporting to the State News Director, the State Editor will be responsible for the leadership of the WIN Television NSW newsrooms. You will liaise with various internal and external stakeholders to produce our highly successful regional bulletin. You will be responsible for preparing the daily news rundowns, subbing reporter scripts and fact checking bulletins before they go to air. You will also act as the first point of contact for advice for other reporters and camera operators on the road. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday.About YouTo be the successful candidate, you must have:A university qualification in journalismAt least three years'' experience in a newsroom, where you were producingA well-rounded knowledge base of regional newsThe ability to lead others and provide sound adviceDemonstrated understanding and working of Victorian Media LawSuperior communication, relationship building and stakeholder management skillsAccuracy and excellent attention to detailExcellent time management skills and excel at working in a deadline-driven environmentPositive work ethic, and the ability and willingness to learn new systems and processesWhat We Can Offer YouAt the WIN Network, we value our employees by offering a vast and varied array of benefits.
