About the RoleThe Attorney Support PROS Coordinator is an integral part of Lathams Secretarial & Admin Support team and will be responsible for organizing and overseeing the quality of work and workflow of the PROS team in the office, while organizing, assigning, delegating, and coordinating the work of the attorney support team to ensure department objectives are met in a timely manner. This role will be located in our Washington D.C. office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.Responsibilities & QualificationsOther key responsibilities include:Working with the Attorney Support Manager on staffing, attendance, and coordinating vacation scheduling, ensuring appropriate coverage for training and lunch absences for the team, and communicating individual team members absences to attorneys and paralegals to ensure awareness of back up supportAssessing team members skills and delegating tasks to encourage the development of necessary skills for all team membersWorking with the local Attorney Support Manager to provide performance feedback to team members on a regular basis, communicating performance issues to management appropriatelyParticipating in and providing feedback during the interview process for new team members on the local team utilizing the Behavioral Based Interviewing (BBI) modelEnsuring all databases reflect current attorney support team assignments, e.g. FacebookProtecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retainsWed love to hear from you if you:Possess leadership skills (i.e., organizing, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making) necessary for effective mentoringDemonstrate knowledge and proficiency in PC applications required, including word processing, spreadsheet software, and MS OfficeDisplay knowledge of Chrome River, Outlook, Cisco Phone, Intapp, iManage, Foundation, Event Management System, and specific technology as assignedAnd have:A high school diploma or an equivalentA bachelor''s degree, preferablyA minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a legal or professional services environmentBenefits & Additional InformationSuccessful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also be provided with a generous total compensation package with bonuses awarded in recognition of both individual and firm performance.
