Then we have an interesting position in Grundfos Sydney (Newington), this is your chance to join us as an Account Manager!What is the job about?As an Account Manager, you are responsible for providing technical support to customers in the Industrial Solutions sale channel (Industrial Channel Partners and Wholesalers, OEMs), ensuring specification and correct application of Grundfos products, and effective management of the sales life cycle through use of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.You are also responsible for the profitable growth and increase in market share through the maintenance, monitoring, and development of Grundfos products, services, and customer base within the Industrial market sector.Your main responsibilities:Develop a designated customer base including preparation plans, budgets and promotional activitiesIdentify and develop new business with the potential to use Grundfos products and servicesIdentify and develop opportunities to implement Value Added ServicesAchieve agreed marketing targets, sales volumes, and contribution targetsProvide technical support to dealers, consultants and end users ensuring specification and correct application of Grundfos productsProvide technical assistance and segment support within the local office as requiredAssist with the preparation of segment-based budgets and plansParticipate in market research and preparation of reports as requiredImplement company and segment-based sales strategyMeet facetime targets to achieve desirable resultsConduct product training for a variety of customersActively adhere to sales processes, including the management of the Customer Relationship Database (CRM)Ensure all reporting is accurate and presented within an acceptable time frame e.g. expensesMaintain and drive Sales ExcellenceAny other reasonable duties as requested, commensurate with the positionYour background:We imagine that you have:Min. a Bachelor in business orengineering or relevant mechanical/electrical trade related background combined with at least 3 years of relevant experience from a large international company working in a similar roleExperience of working in an account manager role preferredFluent in English is a requirementFrequent travel within the role shouldbe expectedGood Hydraulics and electrical understandingChemical dosing and controls automation knowledge would be an advantageWhats in it for you?Whether its developing leadership skills or advancing your expertise even further, well support you with continuous learning and development opportunities, to help discuss and steer your long-term Grundfos career path.
