Our mandate is to collect, preserve, and share the remarkable story of the Australian audiovisual experience through film, television, radio, recorded sound, online media, video games, and associated documentation and ephemera.While our primary focus is on Australian production and related works, we also address key international influences. This position involves managing the Funded Works Deliverables program related to digital games. The NFSA is committed to developing its collection to include representations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and those from diverse cultural backgrounds.Job DescriptionUnder general direction, undertake the following duties:Actively contribute to managing and acquiring contemporary Australian video games and interactive media through the funded Deliverables program.Contribute to curatorial projects and acquisition programs related to video games and interactive media, including maintaining stakeholder relationships, negotiating material lodgement, and processing acquisitions.Conduct thorough curatorial research and analysis of collection materials to develop targeted acquisition strategies.Assist in developing and updating curatorial policies, guidelines, workflows, and procedures.Contribute to the interpretation and presentation of the collection as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
