With almost 100 years as a Caterpillar Dealer, William Adams has proudly made its mark.Together with Caterpillar, we''ve been there for customers - selling and servicing the best equipment in the world - on land, at sea, in construction, mining and industry.We are seeking a Trades Assistant to join our Cat Rental team in Laverton in a full time role.ABOUT THE ROLEThe Cat Rental team currently have a vacancy for a highly motivated Trades Assistant.Working as part of a small team, this position offers the opportunity to join an exciting part of the business and gainexperience in supporting Caterpillar equipment.Your main responsibilities as a Trades Assistant will include:Support the service department with managing and maintaining contamination control and workshop cleanliness to provide a safe and efficient work environmentOrganisation of the yard and equipmentWash and inspect of equipment prior and post hire for customersCompleting required administrative tasks accurately and effectivelyAlways providing quality customer service to internal and external stakeholdersSupport the service departments to maximise productivity.ABOUT YOUTo be considered for this role, you must possess the following skills/experience:Experience in manual handlingA forklift licence is preferredAbility to use smart phone/tablet and relevant appsA positive attitude towards customer servicePositive and proactive attitudeSelf-motivated and team orientatedProven ability to work unsupervisedWhy work with us?Joining the William Adams family, you will instantly feel welcome and supported.
