We are committed to the ecologically sound and sustainable use of resources and strive to operate in a manner that minimises waste and protects the environment.Your New RoleWe have an excellent opportunity available for a motivated and experienced Electrician to work for the NSW maintenance team, based at our St Marys site.Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be working alongside operators, fitters and engineers within a busy industrial environment.You will work on the recycling plants which requires technical and diagnostic skills, fault finding, basic knowledge of PLCs and Scada systems.This position includes an additional shift allowance of 15% + overtimeCompany Mobile And Laptop ProvidedHours of Work: 10:30am 6:30 pm Monday Friday with the possibility of morning shift and overtime when required.For further information or to express your interest please email Ali Nozari ali.nozari@simsmm.comYour Responsibilities Will IncludeAssist with plant and equipment breakdowns through troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues efficientlyInventory control of electrical spare partsManage electrical contractors on small projectsComplete safety documentation including but not limited to risk assessments & work permitsAssist state engineering manager with the procurement of electrical equipmentPerform routine inspections and preventative maintenanceTo Be Successful in This Opportunity, You Will HaveTrade qualification with industrial experienceA current drivers licenseProven experience in an industrial settingExperience working within a team and collaboration with contractorsDemonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervisionSound knowledge of electrical systems and machineryStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong focus on safety, with sound understanding of Workplace health and safetyFlexibility to work in the morning shift and overtime as requiredSelf-motivated with a proactive approach to daily workBasic knowledge of PLCs and Scada systemsProficient computer skillsIt Will Be of Added Advantage If You HaveEWP Ticket advantageous but not essentialWorking at heights ticketHV ticketForklift ticketIn Return, We OfferJoin an environmentally conscious company recognised as the most sustainable corporation in 2024 on Corporate Knights'' Global 100 index.
