We are committed to Thiess being a company and a culture where great people can excel and where they are developed and supported to reach their highest potential.We are looking for an Auto Electrician to join our Field Maintenance team on a 14/7 roster out at our Iron Bridge project - enjoy our fabulous camp - permanent rooms, swimming pool, excellent food and more, work across a variety of ancillary equipment, and join a team focused on upskilling and rewarding our workers!About The RoleIn this role, you will:Maintain ancillary plant equipment safely and efficiently in order to meet site maintenance schedulesServicing and repairs to heavy vehicle air-condition systemsReading electrical schematics, diagnosing, and carrying out repairs on 12/24v electrical systemsAttending in-field breakdowns and repairing faults safely and efficientlyCreate detailed parts lists for faults found during inspections for future repairsCAT and Liebherr experience desirable.About YouTrade certified auto electrical tradespersonProven experience in the maintenance of large scale mobile equipment in a mining environmentRelevant post trade experienceCAT and Liebherr experience highly desirable.Valid Drivers LicenceCurrent Standard 11What Thiess Can Do For YouPermanent full-time positionsFull camp facilities providedThiess commitment to training & developmentSalary sacrifice options Flights & novated leasingRange of corporate discounts including health insurance (Medibank), travel & retail products.About UsWe partner with our clients to deliver excellence in open cut and underground mining in Australia, Asia, Africa and the Americas.
