Intelligence products disseminated by the CIG assist with decision making processes around the management of offenders in custody and under community corrections supervision.What Youll DoThe Senior Correctional Officer collect, analyse and disseminate intelligence information which assists staff in the management of offenders both in custody and under community supervision. Supervise the daily activities of staff in the provision of intelligence products on security and safety matters in the correctional and community environments.Note Applicants are advised that due to the nature of the work that the CIG undertakes, employees may be exposed to violent, graphic and sexually explicit material as part of their duties.What Were Looking ForApplicants for this role are required to have an excellent understanding of the role of intelligence and its application within correctional environment (or equivalent). You will need to a be a highly motivated individual who is results driven with excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, report writing, problem solving and supervisory skills.Applicant RequirementsRelevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.Minimum 3 years experience working in intelligence or relevant industry experience.Understanding and knowledge of the intelligence cycle.Experience within law enforcement, intelligence or government security environments is highly desirable.To meet satisfactory probity and National Security Information Clearances, the successful applicant will be required to be an Australian Citizen and obtain National Security Clearance to the NV1 level.Current Drivers Licence with ability and willingness to drive throughout NSW.Download The Role Description.We focus on hiring people who share our commitment and goals of inclusion, collaboration, adaptability, courage and integrity.
