Joining our team means access to cutting-edge tools, skilled colleagues, engaging projects, and career growth opportunities.Most importantly, you will be making a tangible difference in the lives of veterans and their families.About the roleThe Compensation Advocate offers advice and support directly to our members, their families, and the broader military community regarding claims and appeals with the Departments of Veterans Affairs, as well as providing immediate welfare assistance.You will also have the opportunity to earn qualifications through the Advocacy Training and Development Program (ATDP), which offers a clear career pathway as you advance.Key ResponsibilitiesKnown as Compensation Advocates, these roles support current and former service members through the Department of Veterans Affairs claims process.Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Preparing and submitting compensation claims under supervision.Working within legislative and policy frameworks to document claims from Veterans.Managing and updating client files using record management systems to ensure data integrity.Communicating with clients and their representatives to gather additional information and provide timely updates on claims. #J-18808-Ljbffr
