Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Direct message the job poster from ZimmermannZIMMERMANN is seeking a dedicated Stock & Logistics Coordinator to support our global supply chain and logistics operations for China (CN) and Southeast Asia (SEA), ensuring smooth, accurate, and timely processes.About our role:The Stock & Logistics Coordinator - CN/SEA will be responsible for managing inventory, inbound & outbound warehouse distribution, logistics, and merchandise transfers to stores and online for our China (CN) and Southeast Asia (SEA) operations. This role requires strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Working with various stakeholders, you will ensure customs compliance, timely resolutions for outbound processes, and accurate record-keeping.This role will be based in Rosebery, NSW, with a Hybrid work arrangement (1 day WFH per week).Key responsibilities will include:Third Party Warehouse (3PL) and Inventory: Work closely with freight forwarders to send pre-alerts to China & Southeast Asia (SEA) 3PL for inbound deliveries and update intake schedules. Consolidate daily inbound stock into weekly airfreight to CN/SEA, optimizing freight efficiency. Create all shipping documents to CN/SEA, ensuring accuracy and customs compliance. Monitor outbound exceptions and communicate with stakeholders for timely resolutions. Maintain customs data, prepare documentation for 3PL partners, and follow through on shipments/deliveries, notifying teams of any delayed styles. Investigate stock discrepancies and report on findings. Review monthly storage capacity and support bi-annual 3PL stocktakes and cycle counts as required.Logistics & Final Mile: Coordinate regular inbound and outbound sea/air freight for China & SEA shipments. Prepare necessary documentation for both imports and exports, including delivery alerts and applying for permits. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, retail, digital, and visual merchandise, to provide logistics support. Provide support to the marketing team, including preparing documents and coordinating PR samples or high-value sensitive shipments into China & SEA. Liaise with customs brokers on clearance for shipments going into China & SEA. Assist with transport insurance claims (damaged/lost in transit) with stores and suppliers. Support retail and digital teams with stock transfers and stock adjustments.Stock Management: Release store orders to 3PL for pick and pack and ensure orders are processed within the required timeframe. Complete any necessary stock transfers to maintain an accurate system. Facilitate regular inventory checks and accurate inventory reporting. Process regular audits between Burgeon (China ERP) and AP21 to ensure stock accuracy and integrity. Ensure stock handling is in line with all CN & SEA compliance processes. Support ad-hoc administrative tasks related to supply chain & logistics operations.Invoice & Cost Management: Check and maintain records of all freight and warehouse related invoices to ensure cost accuracy. Assist with budget tracking and invoicing, working closely with the finance department.What you will bring to the role:Experience: A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within the fashion or logistics industry is preferred. Experience working with third-party logistics companies.Language Proficiency: Fluent proficiency in Mandarin (speaking, writing, and reading) and English preferred.Skills: Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Demonstrated high level of integrity and ability to work under pressure. Problem-solving skills and initiative-taking abilities.
