Our supportive work environment and dedication to career development make Coogee an excellent place to advance your future.About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Plant Operator to join our Chlor Alkali Plant based in Kwinana, WA on a Permanent Full Time basis. This position operates on a 4 days on (2 day shifts then 2 night shifts) and 4 days off roster.Key Responsibilities:Monitor and control all aspects of plant operation under the direction of the shift supervisor.Carry out duties as directed by the Supervisor or Superintendent as a spare operator.Perform routine laboratory analyses as required.Complete training courses as set out in the training matrix.Provide relief for other operators as needed.Become competent in all aspects of plant operation.Assist maintenance staff when required.Report all alarms and trips related to SIS and BMS safety systems in the Incident Reporting Register.Ensure tanker loading is carried out efficiently and safely, maintaining accurate records.About YouWere seeking a motivated, organized individual who:Works well in a small team environment.Responds effectively to process issues.Uses laboratory equipment proficiently.Performs physical tasks related to plant operation.Operates mobile equipment.Recognizes hazards.What We OfferCompetitive salary and incentives (including expected salary information can be added here)Benefits and perksWellness incentivesSocial events throughout the yearHow to ApplyClick "Apply Now" to submit your resume and cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.Coogee Chemicals is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity.
