Working within NESAs Professional Conduct team, you''ll be directly involved in managing complex matters relating to the suspension, revocation or voluntary cancellation of teacher accreditation. Its an evolving space where you''ll engage with a broad range of stakeholders, agencies and interstate authorities.We''re looking for someone who brings experience navigating sensitive matters, an understanding of teacher conduct and accreditation, a strong grasp of information-sharing protocols.On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:Managing sensitive conduct-related matters, including accreditation suspensions and revocationsActing as a key liaison, triaging issues and taking decisive action to manage risksPreparation and review of complex communications for schools and early childhood services to support timely and accurate conduct decisionsMaintaining accurate records and coordinating schedules, meetings and deadlines in a high-volume environmentSupporting the development and continuous improvement of internal systems and processesOur ideal candidate will have:Experience in working professionally within high-stakes or sensitive contextsA solid understanding of the teacher conduct space and how it intersects with accreditationFamiliarity with information-sharing requirements and legislationExperience working across complex systems and building process improvementsStrong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to remain calm, professional and outcome-focused during challenging conversationsTertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent relevant professional experience.Working with children check clearance for paid employment (prior to commencement, not required at the application stage)For more information, we invite you to download the role description.About usAt the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) we work with the NSW community to drive improvements in student achievement.We achieve this by supporting all school sectors with high-quality syllabuses, assessment (including managing the HSC and NAPLAN), teaching standards (e.g., accrediting teachers) and school environments (including setting and monitoring school standards).To find out more about the important work we do for NSW visit our website.Ready to join us?Select apply and attach an up-to-date rsum (maximum 5 pages) and a cover letter (maximum 2 pages).
