This role acts as a market guardian for applying Nestl Continuous Excellence principles to achieve zero defects, maintaining consumer and customer trust and preference.A day in the lifeReporting to the Manager, Quality Management Oceania, and building competencies across the value chain to support improvements, key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Being the Quality SME on the journey to zero defects and zero waste.Eliminating Critical defects in products and processes across the value chain.Serving as the category Quality expert for NPP and CPW factory operations in the market to drive compliance and quality improvements.Promoting a quality mindset across all functions to enhance quality awareness.Utilising Process Capability tools and digital solutions, e.g., DMO MMS, to support the Quality Monitoring Scheme.Managing the Quality Review process (MRQ and BRQ) to support the consumer and customer value proposition.What will make you successfulStrong analytical, communication, and leadership skills are essential for success.University degree or equivalent, preferably in microbiology, chemistry, or food science.5+ years experience in Quality roles such as Factory QA Manager, food safety coordinator, or production line manager.Experience in line management with demonstrated leadership capabilities.Proven track record of delivering results through cross-functional teamwork.Effective communication and presentation skills.Stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.Proactive, thorough, detail-oriented, with strong relationship-building abilities.Problem-solving skills with a focus on sustainable solutions to business issues.Applicants will be required to undergo pre-employment checks, including health checks, prior to appointment.Applicants must have full Australian working rightsYou will have the opportunity to work with an outstanding, highly engaged team, and develop your career with a global FMCG leader.We offer:Varied career experiences and personalized development supportDiversity and Inclusion initiativesDiscounted Nestl productsCompetitive remuneration packageEmployee Assistance ProgramOur StoryNestl is one of the worlds largest FMCG companies, leading in nutrition, health, and wellness.
