About The Role Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, this newly created role will focus on planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating wellbeing and safety initiatives to enhance staff health and wellbeing. The primary objectives include: Defining, leading, and managing KDHS''s Wellbeing and Psychosocial Risk Management Program Developing creative and innovative strategies to promote wellbeing and mental health, including cultural safety, aligned with KDHSs strategic plan "A dynamic, capable, and supported workforce" Providing leadership and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety legislative requirements Overseeing and improving services for staff and managers, such as psychosocial risk advisory, respectful workplace behaviors, wellbeing, family violence support, and employee assistance programs About You Relevant qualification in occupational health & safety or equivalent experience Experience in leading and managing an OHS function within an organization Knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice, and policies Experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating dynamic work health and safety and/or wellbeing programs Coaching and mentoring skills Further Information The full position description is available for download.
