The roleWe are seeking an experienced Paralegal to support our dynamic and high performing Real Estate team in Sydney.In this role, youll work closely with a Partner on broad range of commercial property and leasing matters, including major property transactions, development projects and leasing portfolios for both private and institutional clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to deepen your property law experience, working alongside a respected industry leader and within a supportive and collaborative team.Key Responsibilities:Preparing and reviewing contracts for sale of land (residential and commercial), negotiating amendments and completing sale or purchase contracts, attend to settlements and registration of documents on the PEXA workspace and liaise with clientsAssisting with the preparation, review and execution of commercial and retail lease documentationPreparing property related correspondence and client updatesCoordinating with clients, external stakeholders and internal teams to progress transactions efficientlyMaintaining and updating matter documentation, precedents and workflowsProviding practical and timely support throughout the life cycle of property transactionsAttending to general file administration and post completion tasks, including execution of documents and registration of property dealingsWhat youll bring:Minimum 2 years experience as a Paralegal in a Real Estate/Property team within a law firmStrong technical knowledge of commercial and retail leasing processesExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsClient focused approach with strong written and verbal communicationAbility to work autonomously and manage competing prioritiesA positive, proactive mindset and eagerness to continue learningAbout UsPiper Alderman is a premier commercial law firm with offices in Sydney, Brisbane, Darwin, Adelaide, Perth and Melbourne.
