This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and is passionate about continuous improvement.Reporting to the Head of Operational Services, Maintenance & Utilities Engineering, you will be on-site and located in Broadmeadows.Your RoleLead the Drawing Office team, managing both local and offshore drafting resources to deliver high-quality engineering documentation.Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of SOPs, work instructions, and document control systems.Plan and prioritise workloads across multiple, overlapping projects, ensuring efficient delegation and delivery.Maintain and update baseline, GxP, and project drawings in compliance with GMP and HSE standards.Foster strong working relationships across engineering, capital projects, and external contractors to ensure alignment and collaboration.Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the Drawing Office, identifying opportunities to enhance systems, processes, and documentation practices.Your Skills And ExperienceExperience in mechanical design drafting, ideally with exposure to piping, electrical, and civil disciplines.Experience leading or managing a drawing office or drafting team.Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with document control systems and CAD data management.Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., pharmaceutical, biotech, industrial) preferred but not essential.Experience with drawing standards, plant configuration management, and engineering documentation practices.Our BenefitsWe encourage you to make your well-being a priority.
