The successful candidate will be passionate about audio storytelling, have excellent organisational skills and a track record of turning around audio on a tight deadline.Day to day you will:Undertake episode pre-production, production, and post production, including; planning, scripting, recording, managing interviews, editing, sound design & mixing.Source and integrate news/archival audio and underscore music/themesPublish podcast episodes for distribution on various platformsHandle talent bookings as needed; including scheduling guests for the podcastsQualificationsWhat youll bring:Strong production, post-production, and audio editing skillsAbility to script, voice, and edit innovative audio storiesExperience as a reporter, editor or producer in a newsroom (desirable)Experience in studio and field recordingA solid understanding of the AFRs content and the issues which engage the audienceExperience managing publishing across multiple platforms and analysing audience metricsProficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (desirable)Proficiency in ProTools (desirable)Additional InformationNine is Australias largest locally owned media company.
