Job DescriptionYour RoleThe Maintenance Services department require an experienced Mechanical Technician (Fitter). Multiple roles available - 12 hour Morning Shift (06:00-18:00) or a 12 hour night shift (18:00 - 06:00).Youll conduct preventative maintenance tasks, inspections, corrective and breakdown maintenance on automated machines at our world class manufacturing facilities at CSL Behring, Broadmeadows.In This Role We OfferAn attractive remuneration packageAllowances and overtimeOn the job development and trainingAccess to an Employee Share Plan which allows employees to buy CSL shares at a discounted rateOnsite facilities (parking and cafeteria)Your ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Maintenance Engineer you will possess experience conducting preventative maintenance tasks, inspections, corrective and breakdown maintenance on filling machines, packaging machines, and supporting equipment. Role requirement includes:Overhauling and maintaining automated filling machines and packaging machines. This includes supporting machine/line changeoversTIG stainless steel welding and Lathe and Milling machine workWorking with Microsoft software packages and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)Working to GMP principles and an appreciation of aseptic processes and techniquesSupporting manufacturing on a shift roster. Flexibility in working hours to meet operational needs, including availability outside normal work hours /Facility shutdown to support major maintenance activitiesYour ExperienceQualification: Certificate 3 Mechanical Engineering trade or Indentured Certificate as a Fitter & TurnerProven experience in the maintenance and operation of automated filling and packaging equipment and expertise in fault diagnosis and corrective actionExperience within a regulated GMP environment in the Pharmaceutical or food manufacturing would be an advantageAn understanding of aseptic techniques and work traceability standards is highly desirableYou are highly motivated and enjoy utilising your initiative to solve complex mechanical related problemsStrong commitment to Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental standardsOur BenefitsWe encourage you to make your well-being a priority.
