Applications are now open for Zinfras 2026 Apprentice and Trainee Program!Be part of Australias dynamic and evolving energy future and energise your career with hands-on experience, professional development, and nationally recognised qualifications.The OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Electrician to undertake a Certificate III in Electrotechnology over a four-year program which will enable you to obtain industry skills and knowledge under the supervision of qualified and experienced professionals, while also attending TAFE to complete your certification.During the program, you will be a valued member of our team and will participate in workplace and worksite rotations, experiencing a variety of work environments within the electricity supply industry which will enhance your skills and career development opportunities.Apprenticeship LocationsBroadmeadows (x2)Glen Waverley (x1)What Youll Be DoingSelect, install, commission, fault find and maintain high and low voltage electrical equipment in substations pertaining to the electricity transmission and distribution systemOperate plant, equipment and tools associated with the construction and maintenance of the transmission and distribution networkSwitching and operating work associated with high voltage and low voltage network assets where authorised and in accordance with network proceduresGeneral duties such as yard work, ground work at job sites, administration, traffic control (where trained) and storesWhat Were Looking ForWe want team players who are enthusiastic, hands-on, and ready to learn.
