As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing and maintenance on trucks and buses, in line with Volvo Group''s standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Steering and suspension repairsElectrical faults, diagnosis and repairsBraking systems diagnosis and repairsComponent overhaulsDriveline repairsPreventative maintenance services and repairsOffsite and breakdown repairsYour future teamThis role will be based at our Volvo Commercial Vehicles dealership in Blacktown, which forms part of the larger Volvo Group Australia umbrella. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the team of 60 workshop staff are made up of Mechanics, Auto-Electricians, Apprentices, Service Advisors, and Costing Clerks.
