This includes overseeing tailings storage facilities in line with regulatory and Evolution standards, managing raw and potable water supply systems, and supporting operational and project teams. The role plays a key part in daily planning, team leadership, and contractor supervision.Key responsibilities include:Leading a high-performing team across tailings and water operationsManaging staffing levels and communicating clear daily and weekly work plansOverseeing raw water supply and tailings deposition activitiesCoordinating with operational teams on pumping strategiesSupervising contractors supporting tailings dam activitiesSupporting RTFE and project teams as requiredPromoting and maintaining health, safety, and environmental standardsAbout youThe ideal candidate will have previous experience in tailings and/or water operations, preferably within the mining industry. You will have a strong understanding of how tailings and water management integrates with broader site operations and be experienced in leading operational crews. A current drivers licence is required, and trade qualifications are desirable. You will be skilled in pump and pipework systems, geotechnical monitoring, and familiar with software such as Citec, Excel, and SAP.
