Ideally located just south of Wollongong, this premium property offers a relaxed seaside escape with world-class amenities and modern design.About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Reservations Manager to join our team on a full-time basis at Crowne Plaza Shell Cove Marina, currently nearing construction completion. The Reservations Manager will be responsible for establishing and managing the hotels reservations processes and systems. A pivotal role which will ensure a smooth and profitable reservations operation, from the pre-opening phase through to day-to-day operations. The Reservations Manager will lead the setup of reservations infrastructure, implement revenue-maximising strategies, and train a reservations team focused on guest satisfaction and operational excellence. Reporting to the Hotel Operations Manager, this is a unique opportunity to be part of the hotel from the ground-up and play a key role in bringing a world-class hospitality experience to life.Key Responsibilities:Pre-OpeningAssist in the implementation of the Property Management System (PMS), Central Reservations System (CRS), and Channel Management tools.Set up room inventory, rate codes, packages, restrictions, and booking policies across all systems and online distribution platforms (OTA, GDS, website).Assist in pricing strategy and forecasting during the pre-opening revenue planning phase.Develop reservations SOPs, scripts, service standards, and training materials.Partner with Talent & Culture to recruit, train, and onboard Reservations Agents to deliver high-quality service.Conduct trial runs and test scenarios to ensure reservation system integrity and team readiness before go-live.Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue teams to prepare for the opening campaign and early bookings.OperationalManage all reservations operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and maximised room revenue.Monitor and optimise hotel occupancy, rate integrity, and inventory control.Analyse booking trends and generate daily/weekly/monthly reservation reports.Maintain effective communication with Front Office, Revenue Management, and Sales teams.Handle VIP and group reservations in collaboration with Sales and Events departments.Ensure guest reservation experiences align with brand standards and customer expectations.About You:Front Office/Reservations background & minimum 12 months Reservations Management experience, as well as experience in hotel opening and pre-opening, desirable.Proven yield management skills and experience with third party websites and third party website managers.Experience in handling a high volume of reservations with superb accuracy.Proven success in customer experience.Ability to identify trends in the market and apply this knowledge to maximise revenue.Extensive knowledge of PMS systems and Microsoft Excel essential.
