Our organisation has a multidiscipline engineering focus with operations that include fabrication (welding - pressure piping, vessels, structural), electrical, instrumentation and industrial control systems.We provide a range of products, semi customised equipment solutions and bespoke projects for our clients and we are actively expanding both our standard product lines and capability to turn out engineering and projects for the top tier mining, oil and gas clients.We are seeking a Maintenance Lead to join our field based team. Ideally you will be located in the Roma, Chinchilla, Toowoomba, Miles and Dalby area. Shuttle service is provided from Acacia Ridge.Position is based in Chinchilla.The successful applicant will be focused on:Monitor equipment per procedure and instructionsPreparing maintenance schedules and carrying outCompleting monthly, 6 and 12 monthly inspectionsCoordinating resources to assist when needed in support of maintenance and upgrades (using our workshop team or 3rd party contractors)Call outs to repair on rigTake over field based trouble shooting when beyond training teamGeneral repairs and servicing of WSTTUpdate & manage maintenance & service logManage Chinchilla workshop (equipment, access, facilities, spares)Scheduling of maintenance with Rig (together with OM coordinator)Communicate effectively with management, staff and clientsGood communication, interpersonal and organisation skillsClient liaison in relation to onsite field activitiesFollow all OH&S related workplace procedures (client and company)Responsibilities and duty of care obligations as per the Petroleum and Gas (Production and Safety) Act and Coal Mining Safety and Health ActEnsure quality standards are metEnsure compliance with the company quality systemMust be prepared to work 2week on 2 week off - day shift with the ability to work additional hours as requiredMechanical/fitting tradeSolid understanding of process equipment operations (be it workover / drilling fluid management, water treatment or gas operations)5+ years'' experience in a similar roleProven experience in dealing with breakdowns and trouble shootingComputer literacy including excel, work and outlook, highly proficient in written and verbal communication.Australian Drivers LicenseExperience in the Oil & Gas IndustryShell/QCI inductionCompetency with 4WD driving (PMASUP236 Operate Vehicles in the Field)Experience with CSG workoversExperience working with Quality Management SystemsAttitude, adaptability, an ability to quickly identify issues and solve problems is valued above a candidates CVA valid drivers license and the right to work in Australia are mandatory for the roleRemuneration will be in accordance with skills and experienceHow do your skills match this job?How do your skills match this job?Sign in and update your profile to get insights.Your application will include the following questions:Do you have a current Australian driver''s licence?
