Backed by local and state governments, this high-value development includes extensive parklands, major earthworks, utilities, drainage, and the construction of a state-of-the-art resource recovery facility.Reporting to a Senior Project Engineer and based full-time on site, youll ply your trade with a hands on approach coordinating site works, interpreting technical plans, tracking progress, and ensuring the delivery program stays on time and to standard.Youll liaise closely with subcontractors, site teams, and stakeholders to solve challenges and keep quality, safety, and environmental compliance front of mind.This is your chance to contribute to a once-in-a-generation project that blends sustainability with community benefit - building infrastructure that will serve the Sutherland Shire for decades to come.You will be trusted with:Preparing and maintaining project scopes, programs, and documentationPlanning and coordinating daily civil works, including bulk earthworks, drainage, and utilitiesInterpreting technical drawings and translating designs into practical site deliveryMonitoring subcontractor performance to ensure progress, safety, and quality complianceTracking site progress and maintaining accurate records and reportingSupporting QA processes including ITPs, inspections, and managing non-conformancesAssisting with cost tracking, variation identification, and reporting to senior engineersCoordinating procurement schedules and ensuring timely delivery of materialsProactively solving site issues with input from supervisors and engineering teamsPromoting environmental best practice and circular economy principles across site activitiesWhats In Your Toolbox?A Bachelors degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering5+ years experience in civil infrastructure, ideally with exposure to large-scale earthworks packagesProven experience delivering on projects valued over $10MStrong understanding of project programming, QA processes, and subcontractor coordinationAbility to interpret technical drawings and manage site documentation confidentlyCurrent NSW White Card and Class C Drivers LicenceYoure a confident communicator with a practical mindset and a sharp eye for detail.
