We have an exciting opportunity within our Finance & Operations team in Sydney!Reporting to the Head of Finance, your role as the Finance Manager will see you support business planning, financial analysis, and internal controls in Oceania.This key role partners closely with retail and operational teams to drive performance, optimise processes, and support decision-making with actionable insights.Key Responsibilities:Lead and prepare budget and forecasting processes, from initial framing to presentations for the regional office (based in Singapore).Prepare and report brand results, as well as providing monthly variance analysis against budgets, forecasts and providing monthly commentaries.Collaborate with retail managers to achieve profitability and operational targets.Prepare month-end accruals, entries, review OPEX, and complete month-end reporting.Work with regional accounting team to optimise the balance sheet especially for cash and working capitalMonitor inventory and propose initiatives to optimise levels and mix.Prepare and lodge statutory requirements such as quarterly BAS, monthly IAS, monthly ABS sales declaration and annual FBT submission for all Fashion Group MaisonParticipate, lead or manage ad-hoc projects including boutique operations handbook matters, liaise on internal (including retail audit) and external audits, wholesale to retail projects, and POS implementationPartner with retail managers on new investments or network expansions, not limited to preparation of capital expenditure proposals that are submitted to HQ.About You:Qualified CA/CPA with previous commercial experience in a similar role (retail / FMCG advantageous)FP&A/ Management Accounting experience criticalStrong analytical and organisational skills to meet multiple deadlines across competing prioritiesExemplary communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholdersThe ability to work independently and within a teamAbility to work and adaptable in a complex, matrixed, multi-country environment.Experience with systems like Microsoft AX, SAP, or POS (desirable)Why Join Us?We are a small team, with a great culture.
