Were searching for an experienced Category Specialist to join us on our journey to be the trades most valued partner.About the RoleA great opportunity to join our merchandising team, as a Category Specialist youll be partnering with the Category Lead to manage stakeholder relationships across supply chain, which includes our domestic and international suppliers. Your role is focused on optimising our product portfolio in our Bathroom and Kitchen range, while maintaining profitability in line with our strategic goals.As part of your induction, well get you to spend some time working in our branch network to gain a greater understanding of our products and services.Responsibilities include:Helping to drive product innovation and development; managing products from concept to launch, collaborating with key stakeholders to bring things to lifeProviding reporting and insights on category portfolios (using Excel and Power BI); analysing results to provide updates on trends and other impactsHaving the customer at the heart of everything you do, helping us build customers for life at ReeceAbout youTo be successful in this role, you will have:Demonstrated experience working in retail, procurement, supply chain, marketing or ideally in a similar role in category management or buying along with some experience working in B2B trade environmentExcellent interpersonal communication skills with a passion for mentoring and sharing your knowledge and expertiseA positive, can-do attitude and an inquisitive nature, with a thirst to understand the Reece business and productsStrong relationship building skills, youll be working with a number of stakeholders within the business and external vendors and suppliersGood excel and Power BI skillsBusiness or Marketing degree qualificationReece offers a competitive salary, structured career progression opportunities, hybrid and flexible work arrangements, discounts on our products, EAP services and more.
