Potentia Energy also has rights secured for a development pipeline of over 8GW across Australia and is committed to an ambitious growth agenda, targeting a significant increase to its installed capacity across wind, solar, storage and hybrid projects.Guided by our core values - Collaboration, Authenticity, Responsibility and Excellence - we work closely with local communities, our partners and customer to contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable future.Description:The RoleThe Project Manager will be focused on the management of power generation projects (wind, solar and BESS), from late-stage development, through construction and commissioning, until handed over to Asset Management.Were looking for professionals eager to face the challenges posed by the global energy transition. Joining our team means you are ready to establish new standards for sustainability, innovation and excellence in the renewables sector, working toward a new era of sustainable development.Key ResponsibilitiesManagement end to end execution of the project (in office and onsite), from taking responsibility for the project from the Business Development unit to the handover to the Asset Management unit, ensuring the achievement of project goals in terms of safe design, construction and commissioning of the plant, within the approved parameters of time, cost and quality.Be accountable of project scheduling and budget management.Provide advice on engineering and installation methods and procedures on site to achieve project requirements.Coordination of project phases and activities, applying project management best practices, in compliance with safety, environment and quality standards.Coordinate and coach Project Team members to ensure achievement of projects goals.Collect and share lessons learned from project execution.Issuing periodical progress reports.Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, local entities, partners and in general all the internal and external stakeholders.Skills and Experiences:Selection CriteriaRelevant qualifications in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering or equivalentMinimum 5 years'' experience in a project management role within the energy industry, within engineering and construction departmentsDeep knowledge of renewable energy business, energy markets (incl. regulation) and related technologiesStrong knowledge in solar and wind farm design, operations and maintenance activities, contract management, SCADA and control systemsGood understanding of budgets and design to cost solutions (capex and opex evaluation)Knowledge of informatics: Microsoft Office suite with advanced use of Excel.
