Job Title

Plan, develop and manage initiative to ensure effective and consistent implementation of Environmental policies, procedure and practices throughout MISC Group of companies in line with MISC HSE policy, legislative requirements and international best practices.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:Develop, implement and monitor environmental strategies, performance indicators, targets and plan across the Group, in alignment with industry best practices, business objectives and sustainable development.Drive the implementation of environmental initiatives and programme across the Group, ensuring compliance with environmental legislation, strategic alignment and areas for improvement.Lead the gathering, analysis and reporting of environmental performance data and performance indicators to identify trends, inform strategic decision-making and drive the development of Group wide environmental, initiatives for continuous improvement.Establish, review and update status of environmental compliance program Groupwide to ensure compliance to legal requirements and adherence to relevant policies and objectives, operational and risk management.Continuously monitor environmental regulations, standards and industry best practices to advice on the formulation of appropriate environmental policies and guidelines and assess their strategic implications to the Management.Contribute to the development of the Groups sustainability reports and other external environmental disclosures, by providing relevant information and narratives.Develop and implement environmental training and awareness programme across all levels to promote environmental responsibility, enhance environmental performance and managing emerging environmental issues.Manage the budget and procurement of environmental related training and programme.Managing the development and implementation of an environmental management system.Provide guidance and advice to MISCs entities in the development and implementation of their environmental strategies, plans and programmes in alignment with legal requirements, risks mitigation, internal policies and procedures, and industry best practices ensuring alignment with Group strategy.Lead and actively participate in the Group organised forums and committees, representing Environment Units strategic perspective and ensuring effective collaboration.JOB REQUIREMENT & QUALIFICATION:At least 10 - 12 years of related working experience in HSE field with substantial knowledge on environmental programs.Experience in Environmental Performance reporting (e.g: GHG, Waste, etc)Preferably a background in maritime industry.Good analytical skill.Degree in HSE related discipline.Seniority levelSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionJob functionOtherIndustriesTransportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and StorageReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at MISC Group by 2xGet notified about new Environmental Manager jobs in Greater Kuala Lumpur.Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia 23 hours agoDeputy Manager, Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG), Credit OperationsWP.
