You''ll have the opportunity to work closely with various stakeholders across the Bank and/or OCBC Group, identify potential risks, and implement effective controls to mitigate them. This role offers a unique blend of challenge and satisfaction, as you contribute to maintaining the Bank''s reputation and upholding the trust of our customers.How You SucceedTo excel in this role, you''ll need to stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry trends. You''ll work collaboratively with business units to identify and assess compliance risks, and develop effective controls to manage these risks. Your analytical and problem-solving skills will be essential in identifying potential compliance issues and implementing solutions to address them.What You DoIn essence, HR Compliance Manager''s role would entail the following:-Reviewing and ensuring that HR Division is in compliance with all relevant regulations, legal requirements and internal processes of the Bank;Advising HR staff on compliance and risk matters related to HR functions by identifying, translating and communicating the relevant regulations, legal requirements and internal processes of the Bank including procurement related matters;Acting as the Audit Liaison Officer in coordinating audit/reviews from regulators, internal/external auditors and Regulatory Compliance Unit as well as attending to their enquiries on timely basis;Performing Quality Assurance Checks such as Risk Control Self-Assessment and Regulatory Requirements Self-Assessment and Control Self-Assessment on a timely basis to ensure that the controls in HR Division are effective in mitigating the Divisions risk exposure;Ensuring other HR staff also perform Quality Assurance Checks such as Risk Control Self-Assessment and Regulatory Requirements Self-Assessment and Control Self-Assessment, accurately and on a timely basis;Participating in various bank-wide working groups on information and operational risks by attending the working groups meetings and disseminating the information to HR staff to create awareness on information and operational risks related matters; andManaging and handling HR Divisions Business Continuity Management (BCM), including reviewing HR''s business continuity planning is relevant and in place in the event of crisis as well as create awareness among HR staff on the Divisions BCP.Who You AreIndependently able to discharge duties without much supervision and able to provide correct advice and guidance to HR staff on overall risk and compliance matters.Willingness to learn and keep abreast of new laws, regulations and internal policies.Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills in order to be able to interact effectively with personal from various levels and divisions.Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess compliance risks.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proactive and adaptable approach, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and compliance.Who We AreAs Singapore''s longest established Bank, we have been dedicated to enabling individuals and businesses to achieve their aspirations since 1932.
