Through this work Health Equity Matters is a unified voice working across a diverse membership mobilising and responding quickly to challenges, and acting as a trusted communication channel to government, research, and clinical partners.Benefits and CultureGenerous salary with not-for-profit salary packaging availableFull time role, with some hybrid WFH optionsOpportunity to contribute to important health related online learning programsThe RoleIn this role you will lead the development and implementation of an online learning program that builds the capacity of Australias community-controlled HIV workforce, and other community health workforces to deliver services to people with HIV and those at-risk of HIV. The goal of the program is to ensure workforces are routinely updated on scientific, medical and socio-cultural developments in HIV through online learning modules and other activities.The program develops and implements skills-based learning packages to develop the capacity of community workforces and to inform HIV program planning and delivery among community-controlled service delivery organisations. You will be responsible for leading a dedicated and highly trained team to achieve the programs objectives with the following responsibilities:Conceptualise and implement an annual program of activitiesOversee the implementation of a monitoring and evaluation frameworkLead the delivery of a high-quality program, activities and reporting to fundersConvene a national forum of member organisationsSupport the leadership team to maintain relations with member organisationsSupport your supervisor to provide routine reporting to the boardUnderstand, implement and participate in processes, policies and proceduresSkills RequiredYou have extensive experience overseeing and strategically delivering online and in-person learning programs in a health related, education or like-minded sector. Crucially you have demonstrated capacity in conceptualising, developing and implementing a workplan of online learning activities to build the capacity of an organisation or workforce. You have also engaged with socially and culturally diverse stakeholders to determine their learning requirements and to promote the program.You also have the following experience:A track record of autonomously planning, implementing and completing technical projectsAbility to work collaboratively to resolve complex issuesNegotiation skills to achieve results while maintaining important relationshipsExperience and success in managing staffExcellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent judgement to manage and advise management on sensitive issuesFamiliarity with learning management systems and associated platforms, particularly Absorb and Articulate is desirableIf you are committed to community education and continuous learning and seek employment in the for purpose sector, please submit a resume and cover letter responding to the skills required above.
