We are an Approved Provider with an expert team capable of running outstanding OSHC programs on school sites.About the role:In your role as the Service Leader, you will oversee the OSHC service, ensuring high-quality care, engaging programs, and regulatory compliance. Your role includes providing pedagogical leadership, mentoring educators, fostering community relationships, and building trust with families. Your leadership and commitment to excellence will be key to the success of our OSHC service.Services with vacancies:Service Co-Ordinator Positions:PoorakaSchool Aged Care Co-Ordinator Positions:Avenues CollegeDuties include:Oversee operational and administrative aspectsEnsure compliance with Education and Care regulations, Happy Haven OSHC policies, and legislative requirementsMaintain and exceed National Quality StandardsProvide leadership and drive improvementCollaboratively develop and update the Quality Improvement Plan and Strategic Inclusion PlanDevelop and implement guidance support plansModel and facilitate effective communication between staffInduct new employees and maintain confidentiality and privacy standardsManage budget and resourcesManage documentation, medication, and Risk Minimisation and Communication Plans for children with health needsDevelop and maintain service-specific risk assessments, supervision plans, and guidelinesEnsure accurate prescribed information is displayedLiaise with school Advisory Committees and Governing Councils as appropriate, inclusive of school Principal, Business Manager and Contract ManagerLiaise with families and outside agencies and engage positively in the school communityAssist in the recruitment of staff in accordance with relevant regulations by way of collaborating with the head office teamsHave awareness of and accountability for service rosters to ensure legal ratios are maintained.Provide a safe workplace that meets the standards of work, health and safety both physical and psychosocialRequirements:Strong organisational and communication skillsPrevious experience in a managerial and leadership roleA can-do attitude and passion for child developmentSound understanding of the National Quality FrameworkPossess a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or a degree in Early Childhood from a recognised UniversityAlternative qualification accepted for applicants recognised by ACECQA as Qualified in South AustraliaWillingness to accept the role of Nominated Supervisor under the Education and Care Services National LawHold or be willing to obtain a valid Working with Children CheckHold or be willing to obtain a valid National Police CheckHold or be willing to obtain Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN-EC) certificateFirst aid training (HLTAID004 or HLTAID012)CPR training (HLTAID001 or HLTAID009)Why Happy Haven OSHC?At Happy Haven OSHC, we are driven by values that shape everything we do - Continuous Improvement, Community Mindedness, Resilience, Trust, and Respect.
