This transformational PPP project will reshape public transport across Western Sydney, supporting population growth and economic development through a new metro line that connects communities and stimulates innovation.About The RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Contract Administrator - Upstream to oversee client-side contract administration for one of Australias most significant public transport projects. You will be responsible for managing compliance, claims, variations, and performance metrics under the PPP agreement with Transport for NSW and other public stakeholders.This position requires a deep understanding of complex commercial contracts, preferably within a PPP environment, and a proactive approach to contract management, stakeholder engagement, and performance reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister upstream contractual obligations in accordance with PPP and project agreement terms.Lead the preparation, submission, and negotiation of the Monthly Interim Payment Certificate.Prepare and manage notices, contractual correspondence, and upstream claims or variations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Monitor contractual performance against KPIs and milestone obligations, identifying non-conformance risks and implementing corrective actions.Provide strategic commercial advice to internal teams regarding upstream contract delivery.Liaise with government stakeholders, managing contract interfaces and maintaining strong working relationships.Collaborate with legal, financial and project delivery teams to manage contract risks, disputes, and resolutions.Ensure accurate project cost tracking, forecasts, and reports relating to upstream commercial positions.Uphold safety, environmental, and quality standards in all contractual dealings.About YouTertiary qualifications in Law, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Commerce.7+ years of experience in contract administration or commercial roles on major infrastructure projects; rail, transport or PPP project experience highly regarded.Proven experience administering upstream/client-side contracts within a performance-based or PPP contractual framework.Strong understanding of contract law, dispute resolution, and payment mechanisms in infrastructure delivery.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated stakeholder engagement and negotiation capability.Highly developed analytical and organisational skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.Proficient in Microsoft Office, contract management systems, and relevant document control platforms.What We OfferOpportunity to shape a flagship public transport projectJoin a high-performing, collaborative commercial team within a major infrastructure consortium.Long-term project pipeline and career development opportunities in a dynamic environment.Central Sydney-based role with flexible work arrangements.Apply NowBe part of Australias infrastructure future.
