2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsThe Manager - Governance and Quality is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of governance, compliance, and quality assurance systems across the institution. The person will, as a member of the senior executive team, play a key role in fostering a culture of good governance and academic and operational excellence, and ensuring all legislative and regulatory compliance requirements are met.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Governance and Compliance:Maintain and periodically review governance frameworks, policies and procedures that align with relevant higher education legislation and standards, including the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021, TEQSA requirements, and institutional policies.Provide expert advice and support to the Board, Academic Board and executive management team on governance and compliance matters.Coordinate the preparation of agendas, papers, minutes and follow-up for governance committees.Monitor regulatory changes and sector developments and advise on implications for institutional governance and operations.2.
