About the RoleAs the Management Accountant, youll oversee core financial operations, including reporting, compliance, budgeting, and cash flow. Working closely with senior management, youll support strategic decision-making and process improvements while ensuring regulatory compliance and system integrity. Youll also liaise with external auditors and lead coordination across AP, AR, credit, and inventory functions.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the annual budget process and monitor performance;Provide financial analysis and timely support to management;Champion process improvements, particularly around inventory controls and financial systems;Support broader business functions through ad hoc projects and reporting;Oversee financial transactions and ensure compliance with policies and regulations;Ensure month-end close, journals, accruals, and general ledger reconciliations are completed accurately;Maintain and enhance financial and administrative systems, including rebates, claims, and inventory;Review and manage the fixed asset register;Prepare and present monthly reports to HQ;Support external audits and regulatory compliance requirements, including BAS, payroll tax, and FBT data; andManage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow forecasting.What Were Looking ForTertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/CPA highly regarded);Experience within Manufacturing highly desirable;Experience using BC 365 system;Excellent organisational and communication skills with strong attention to detail;Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;Proficiency in accounting systems and intermediate to advanced Excel skills; andExperience in inventory controls and budget preparation is desirable.How to ApplyFor more information or a confidential discussion please email Angus Harding at u&u at angus.harding@uandu.com .At u&u Recruitment Partners, we value diversity, equity and inclusion.
