Our sites are a cornerstone of this mission, processing high volumes of materials to create a greener future.The opportunity:We are currently seeking an enthusiastic hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to join the Recycling team on a full-time basis, based at Laverton in West Victoria.This position will lead a direct team of 4 and will report to the Site Manager.The RoleReporting to the Site Manager, Laverton Glass, your key responsibilities will be:Ensuring the health, safety, and environmental (OHS&E) compliance of all employees and visitors.Leading cost reduction initiatives to achieve and maintain the lowest operational costs.Developing and monitoring daily and monthly KPIs to track business performance.Providing leadership, guidance, and support to your team of four direct reports.Actively managing and reviewing the performance of direct reports, including setting and evaluating KPIs to ensure they align with business goals.Overseeing the technical training and development of team members.Ensuring full compliance with all relevant site regulations and standards.What you will bring to the team:Work Experience managing a team in a process manufacturing environmentDemonstrated experience as a Fitter/TurnerMechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.Ability to manage meetings.Ability to train othersExperience managing employee performanceWhen you join Visy, youre joining a global leader dedicated to making serious progress in the sustainable packaging, recycling, re-manufacturing, and logistics industries.
