Suburban Connect is a consortium of global leaders in tunnelling including CPB Contractors, Ghella and Acciona Construction delivering the Tunnels South package on Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) East, on behalf of Suburban Rail Loop Authority (SRLA).We have a broad range of roles available to build our diverse and inclusive workforce, including construction and engineering, planning and environmental management, corporate support, administration, communications and many others.SRL East from Cheltenham to Box Hill is now under construction, with tunnelling to start in 2026 and trains to be running by 2035.Suburban Connect is constructing the 16kms of tunnels between Cheltenham and Glen Waverley using 4 tunnel boring machines and a range of excavation methods. The works also include 55 cross passages, 2 tunnel portal structures, 2 station box excavations and associated supports.We are building on the strong foundations of our unique history to create a successful and sustainable future. Increased access to employment, training, and development opportunities Maximising supplier opportunities for local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander owned businessesBuilding sustainable and respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples across Australia is a key focus for our company and we are committed to making a positive impact to peoples lives.Your OpportunitySite AdministratorAs an Administrator you will be accountable for:Track and manage site costs through the online cost trackerRaise and receipt purchase ordersReceipt and sign off of heavy mobile equipment (HME) pre-startsManagement and ordering of supplies (ie office, catering, uniforms)Assist quarry operations team to manage their Preventative Maintenance work ordersAssist Workshop in general administration when requiredOur minimum requirements for this role are:Ideally, youll have gained experience in a similar role within a construction industryFlexible, professional, can-do attitudeAbility and willingness to learn and take on new tasksProven resourcefulness and problem-solving abilitiesExtremely strong attention to detailExceptional time management and organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise, adapt at short notice and multi-taskExcellent oral and written communication skillsIntermediate to advanced skills in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.How will we support you?By joining us, you will have access to internal support through our Social Impact team.
