Providing our valued Customers with market products across; energy, chemicals, food, mining, mobility, and data centers, just to name a few.The OpportunityWe are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Business Development Manager to be based in Sydney, working within our growing Infrastructure and Transport segment. Working within key accounts, you will identify and qualify major infrastructure opportunities early in the sales cycle, map out the ecosystem of key stakeholders, develop a pursuit strategy and lead a team of technical and sales professionals to present a Customer specific value proposition utilising the full suite of Schneider offers.Working with Customers and peripheral influencers, you will work to uncover their needs so you can clearly articulate the right solution at the right time. You will also work across our broader organisation as you collaborate with other lines of business, leveraging the support of commercial business functions and influencing leadership teams to gain support for your strategies.With an eye to the future, you will be an experienced professional who can operate within a complex global organisation. With all the tools to succeed, you will enjoy flexible hybrid working arrangements and all the benefits youd expect from a truly global organisation as you gear up to make an Impact with the team at Schneider Electric.Key ResponsibilitiesLeveraging your technical knowledge and/or industry experience to grow annual revenue working with End Users and EPCs, primarily focused on the Infrastructure / Transport segmentLeading Major Infrastructure pursuits, collaborating with both sales and technical functions from other lines of business to present the full Schneider portfolio that meets our Customers needsClearly articulating Schneiders value from CAPEX to OPEX, leveraging Services and Digital SolutionsPartnering with Marketing to define strategies and roadmaps that achieve business objectivesProactively building a qualified funnel, securing opportunities and achieving high conversion ratesStaying informed and networked across go-to-market channels and relevant industry bodiesTaking a lead role negotiating contracting arrangements and other commercial requirements, working with relevant SMEsRegional travel when requiredAbout YouTarget carrying sales background gained in a similar position (Account Manager or BusinessDevelopment Manager)Proven ability to build rapport, nurture relationships (Mid-level and C-Suite) and influence key stakeholders to achieve business objectivesExperience working within Infrastructure, Transportation, Contractors and EPCsDesirable ExperienceExperience in leading complex pursuits with a long sales cycle involving multiple offersKnowledge of MV products and solutions as well as selling within construction projectsTertiary qualifications (Business, Engineering etc)Experience with Salesforce CRMAll applicants must have working rights in Australia at the time of application and will be required to provide documented evidence if selected for Interview.Schneider Electric does not accept unsolicited resumes/candidate profiles from external agencies or suppliers via any method.
