Project Manager (Major Projects) page is loadedProject Manager (Major Projects)Apply locations Mascot time type Full time posted on Posted Today job requisition id R0650447Great benefits and remuneration - Base + 12.5% sup + car allowance + bonusWork with industry-leading products and technologyJoin a global organisation with a strong focus on training, safety and qualityOur work will take you in different directionsKONE are looking for a Project Manager to join our New Building Solutions - Major Projects team in Sydney.Reporting to the Delivery Operation Manager you will be responsible and accountable for the successful delivery & management of projects across all milestones, cost & quality control, effectively managing stakeholder communication and relationships.You will manage a diverse portfolio of projects and take ownership of cost control, quality outcomes, time and effectively managing stakeholder relationships.What will you be doing?Proactively manage communication with customers and key stakeholders throughout the installation process. Primarily focus will be on design and procurement stagesUndertake early planning & feasibility of the project (working closely with all stakeholders is key to ensure successful project deliveryHold monthly PCG meetings with supply line managers, customer & internal teamsManage contract and variations very closelyManage project risk reviews and status updatesEnsure adherence with clearly defined procedures and guidelinesAchieve KONE''s safety targets by driving/ maintaining a safety focused cultureEnsuring compliance to policy requirementsPartner with key internal teams in pre-tender and tender activitiesWork closely with delivery operation manager, projects managers and site managers to ensure success of other projects within the MP PortfolioWhat are we looking for?Project Management and or Engineering qualification requiredBuilding/ Construction management experience requiredMajor Projects experience is highly desirablePrevious Lift experience is preferredExperience In managing large projects (minimum $5m in value)Demonstrated experience in end-to-end project managementStrong influencing and negotiation sillsTeam player & positive attitudeResilient and persevering approachThe breadth of our business means career pathways both local and abroad.
