This role will suit someone who is confident and happy working within both a strategic business building capacity and also working in the ongoing supportive and evolutionary phase of customer care. This is a standalone and all-encompassing role where you can own your space.We are looking for a professional person with extensive experience who wants to work in a great environment, looking to embark on the next phase of professional growth. Please note, we are not looking for a graduate or junior.You will join our great team and report to the Director of AV ICT, working in a hybrid arrangement from our modern office located in the Sydney NSW CBD.Not only will you be part of a great team, but you will also have contact with and work alongside our Associates and Directors who are committed to the development of our people.What you''ll do:Strategy and growth:Identify new opportunities for business through new clients, new markets or products/solutions.Contribute to, develop and deliver bids / submissions / presentations to further the development of business opportunities for DBS.Lead and/or support all DBS IT, Technology and Managed Services tenders and projects.Lead the briefing phase of DBS IT, Technology and Managed Services on our projects, ensuring clients are educated on the broad range of options.Manage and deliver the technical requirements from briefing through design and documentation in line with client budget and expectations.Attend DBS IT, Technology and Managed Services meetings as required.Support:Compile lists of prospective client businesses using trade directories and other sources.Acquire and update knowledge of employer''s and competitors'' goods and services, and market conditions to support DBS growth plans.Visit regular and prospective client businesses to establish and act on DBS product and services selling opportunities.Assess customers'' needs and explain the DBS product and services which meet their needs.Quote and negotiate prices and credit terms with suppliers, and complete contracts and record orders.Assist with IT and Technology projects deliverables, design and tasks assigned for completion.Assist the DBS technology team with advice and outcomes of IT and technology related to ongoing projects.Create project documentation as required by DBS to communicate design intent and engagement with vendors and clients.Lead and manage the implementation and delivery phase of IT, Technology and Managed Services engagements,including coordinating the delivery of goods, installation of equipment and the provision of services for DBS clients.Review technical submissions and undertake construction administration duties including user acceptance testing (as required).Provide post service support to clients to ensure satisfaction with IT, Technology and Managed Review reports and assist with closing out actions by DBS as required.Act as an escalation point for coordinating outstanding actions and service calls as needed.Report to sales management on sales made and the marketability of IT, Technology and Managed Services with in the current and future climate.Services purchased, arranging modifications and resolving any problems arising.Prepare sales reports, and maintain and submit records of business expenses incurred.Work closely with the AV ICT and broader DBS team on daily basis.Build and maintain relationships with clients, builders and contractors.What youll need:Qualifications:Relevant qualifications in ICT, Information Technology, Project Management, Engineering, or similar.Knowledge and skills:A demonstrated understanding of unified communication room technology, including:IP Network project managementDesk Booking and space management design and project managementOccupancy sensing selection and project management delivering designs and solutions.Smart locker project management of design and IT requirements.Smart application review and project managementExtensive leadership experience.Advance communication and negotiating experience.Experience with Crestron, Polycom, Microsoft and other ICT platforms.Understanding of the construction industry project phases and delivery methods.Experience in commercial and/or workplace fit out.Problem solving skills and ethical judgement.Understanding of the construction industry project phases and delivery methods.Experience in commercial and/or workplace fitout (desirable).10 plus years'' experience in a similar role.What you''ll receive in return:Our commitment to your professional development; we will give you the tools to shape the role and your development to make it your own.Technical and self-development training.Fully stocked kitchen, coffee machine and bar.A great office culture that is all about collaboration.Hybrid working with 2 days a week remote option.Social events and celebrations for DBS team and partners.Video game nights, work drinks and other fun events.Spot rewards for above and beyond performance.Flexible work life balance.Employee Assistance Plan.Our culture:We value our team for who they are, their technical and life experience and the diversity they bring to DBS.
