You will be supporting families that have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, abuse, bullying and other forms of vulnerability and disadvantage. Working in a multidisciplinary team, you will undertake an initial assessments; provide high quality counselling, psychotherapy, case management, and therapeutic group work. We use a trauma informed, strengths based approaches and an integrated, wrap around service model.DutiesProvide counselling services to women who are experiencing the impacts of complex trauma including Domestic Family Violence including historical child sexual assault and mental health concerns Engage clients using appropriate strengths based assessments and risk minimisation processes, including safety planning.Cofacilitate psychoeducation and well being groups for women.Represent the organisation at Interagency meetings and or events.This role will also work with children and young people at risk of poor mental health outcomes and their families.Our BenefitsWe support people to live their best life.
