Their approach is hands-on, practical, and built around reliability, safety, and fast turnaround times.About the RoleAs theProjects and Planning Coordinator (Overhauls Coordinator), you''ll take ownership of end-to-end workshop coordination for mechanical and hydraulic overhauls. This isnt just scheduling it''s a varied and requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting. Youll collaborate across internal teams, suppliers, and customers to keep overhauls running smoothly, all while juggling priorities and tracking job progress.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the delivery of mechanical and hydraulic overhauls within the workshopManage customer requirements from quotation through to completionSource and organise documentation, parts, scopes, and supplier pricingRaise and manage work orders, purchase orders, and parts requisitionsLiaise with internal teams, supervisors, and customers on progress and changesTrack parts and supplier deliveries to ensure on-time executionMaintain WIP registers and support timely, accurate invoicingManage warranty and service claimsIdentify and implement process improvements that lift delivery and qualityEnsure a safe and compliant working environmentYour Skills & ExperienceStrong experience coordinating workshop-based projects, ideally in mining or heavy industryAptitude for learning mechanical components, hydraulic systems, or service/repair workflowsBackground in work order management, or WIP trackingSkilled in managing purchase orders, quotes, and supplier relationshipsConfident communicator, able to manage stakeholders across customers, workshop teams, and suppliersComfortable with systems (SAP, Smartsheets, Excel or similar platforms)Detail-oriented, well-organised, and able to prioritise under pressureKnowledge of Caterpillar equipment or similar would be highly regardedBenefitsStable full-time role with a local employer known for quality workReal ownership in a busy and visible roleSupportive team culture and approachable leadersOpportunity to grow and make process improvementsConvenient Hunter Valley locationIf you''re someone who enjoysbeing at the heart of the action, managing moving parts, and solving problems.
