DP World is currently seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our expanding Contract Logistics team, based in Sydney CBD.In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a targeted sales pipeline, regularly engaging with existing customers, and working to increase DP Worlds share of wallet. You will focus on securing, retaining, and expanding customer relationships, with the goal of scaling our logistics operations. Additionally, youll leverage your industry network to identify new business opportunities and drive sustainable growth.Key AccountabilitiesSales and Customer Solutions:Plan and execute sales activities with defined targets by vertical or geography.Lead high-level negotiations, pricing strategies, and contract finalisation.Maintain accurate CRM records and manage customer interactions effectively.Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver optimal solutions and customer outcomes.Drive profitable deal closures aligned with DP Worlds sales strategy.Oversee and support new customer onboarding and implementation processes.Pipeline Management:Deliver customer KPIs in line with the overall sales strategy and plan.Drive growth and optimisation of profitable commercial revenue streams.Generate and nurture leads to support both current and future vertical pipelines.Develop a robust sales pipeline with short, medium, and long-term opportunities aligned to business strategy.Manage and analyse actuals vs. forecasts vs. budget for performance tracking and planning.Qualifications, Skills & Experience5+ years of sales development experience, with a focus on Contract Logistics.Proven success in customer lead generation and developing high-retention relationships.Strong background in expanding into new verticals within freight forwarding or related industries.Highly organised, able to manage priorities effectively and perform well under pressure.Skilled in consultative sales and strategic relationship management.About DP WorldTrade is the lifeblood of the global economy, creating opportunities and improving the quality of life for people around the world.
