The intensity of growth and investment in City of Parramatta means that Council, their partners, and community have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to shape the Citys future and ensure it is culturally, socially, environmentally, and economically sustainable.Join the City of Parramattas creative team at Parramatta Artists Studios (PAS)About The RoleAs the programs producer you will be responsible for planning and delivering public-facing programs, supporting artist activities, and coordinating the day-to-day operations at PAS. Reporting to the Director of PAS, you will play a key role in connecting the community with contemporary arts whilst ensuring the studio programs and facilities run effectively.Key Responsibilities:Develop, program and deliver public programs including workshops, activities, tours, talks and events based at PAS or in other locations.Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners required to deliver public programs.Identify and coordinate media, marketing and promotional opportunities for public programs.Coordinate the operation and maintenance of the PAS facilities.About YouThe successful candidate will bring:Tertiary qualifications in Art, Museum Studies, Communications, Events Management or equivalent competencies.Experience in a variety of settings such as galleries, museums, artists studios, visitor services, hospitality and venue management.Experience in the planning and delivery of innovative public programs within an arts environment.Excellent communication skills, interpersonal and customer service skills.Ability to work in a creative environment, to program and take responsibility for multiple projects and competing demands.Whats On OfferPermanent Part-Time Position 4 days per weekWe are offering an attractive remuneration Pro Rata from $87,851 to $96,771 plus 12% superannuation.In addition City of Parramatta also offer excellent employee benefits which include:A range of flexible work arrangements including hybrid WFH arrangements14 weeks paid parental leaveAccess to Long Service Leave after 5 yearsCentral Parramatta location (Public transport at our door, discounted parking)Significant leave benefits (up to 12 days flexi-time, 3 additional leave days at Christmas, 15 days sick/personal leave, 2 days health and wellbeing leave per year)Learning and development opportunitiesHealth and Wellbeing programs (Fitness Passport, flu shots, etc.)Want to know more?Further information regarding the requirements of this role can be found in the attached Position Description .Alternatively for any questions please contactSidney McMahon via email smcmahon@cityparramatta.nsw.gov.auHow To ApplyCandidates MUST apply online, please attach a Cover Letter addressing the requirements of this role.Applications close 9pm, Friday 25th July 2025 and will not be accepted through any other medium.The City of Parramatta supports a Drug and Alcohol-free working environment and employees may be subject to random testing as a result.Inclusion, Diversity and belonging lies at the heart of how we recruit at the City of Parramatta.
