Come join us!Show Summary:Were seeking versatile Crowd/Fix Animators to support our upcoming CG Feature Film by enhancing shots across various areas in collaboration with our animation teams.What Youll Do:Collaborate with Directors and Animation Leadership to produce high-quality feature animation aligned with the creative vision, including generating animation cycles for crowd simulations and animating background characters.Develop high-quality animation and cycles for the crowd team and enhance shots through background character animation.Assist with aesthetic or technical fixes such as intersections, eyelines, pops in motion, cloth adjustments, and overall shot polish.Participate in animation reviews to understand shot history, identify issues, and communicate fix trends to leads.Support leadership by creating, finishing, and fixing performances promptly to deliver the best quality shots.Learn the feature animation pipeline, including technical requirements, and help prepare shots for animation entry and exit.Collaborate with a mindset of grace, humility, inclusion, and open-mindedness.What Youll Need:Understanding of animation principles, story, pacing, continuity, and appeal.A proven team player with creative imagination, problem-solving skills, and self-motivation.A reel no longer than 2 minutes showcasing your strongest animation work with emotional depth, physics, and entertainment value.Proficiency in Maya or similar software is preferred but not required.At least 1 year of animation experience in feature films, VFX, TV, or games.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively and accept constructive criticism.Openness to new workflows and tools.Ability to meet deadlines within a team setting.A commitment to continuous improvement and inspiring others.Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills.This role is based in Sydney, Australia, with a hybrid work model requiring a minimum of 3 days in the office per week.Our benefits include health plans, mental health support, retirement programs, family benefits, paid leave, and more.
