The successful applicant will have the ability to work independently and within a team environment, take initiative as necessary and liaise with internal staff and external referrers.The Department of Medicine is within the St George and Sutherland Clinical School of UNSW Medicine and it consists of five Clinical Academics who have significant academic and teaching responsibilities, and who practice in disciplines such as Gastroenterology, Renal Medicine and Endocrinology.BenefitsSalary packaging options that reduce your taxable income and increase your take-home pay! Up to $9K for living expenses and $2.6K meal & entertainment & Novated Leasing.Discounted gym memberships with a Fitness PassportEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) for employees and family members.Discounted Private Health Insurance.Selection CriteriaDemonstrated exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude.Previous experience in an administrative role providing a range of front-line reception, administrative and clerical support services.Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience in responding to a range of enquiries and ability to determine the appropriate response in a complex environment.Excellent organisational and time management skills including high attention to detail, ability to prioritise workloads while meeting strict deadlines to ensure efficient clinics.Competency and accuracy in the use of information and communication technology, including Microsoft Office programs, with the ability to learn new programs readily.
