Senior Analyst Group Regulatory Change & AdvocacySee yourself in our team:The Group Regulatory Change & Advocacy Chapter is responsible for ensuring the CBA Group achieves compliance with new or amended financial services laws in order to safe guard our customers and preserve public trust.Your Impact:As a Senior Analyst, you will support the team involved in advocacy efforts to influence the reform agenda and facilitate the understanding and implementation of regulatory changes across the Group. You will assist in collating and forming a balanced view of proposed reforms, analysing new regulations, preparing documentation and working with business units to help ensure compliance is achieved before new laws take effect.Key responsibilities for this role include:You will be expected to perform the following tasks in a manner consistent with CBA''s Values and People Capabilities:Identify emerging key regulatory reforms using group reporting tools and communicate to internal stakeholders.Support regulatory advocacy efforts across the group and with key industry associations.Assist in preparing regulatory change analysis and summarising key requirements.Support the communication of regulatory change requirements and timeframes to impacted stakeholders.Help maintain obligations data in the Groups obligations register.Contribute to the preparation of reports for senior managers and governance forums.We''re interested in hearing from people who have:Education in relevant legal and/or business disciplines and a good understanding of regulatory frameworks that apply to financial services.Strong teamwork, customer service orientation and experience working independently in a fast-paced environment dealing with a diverse range of people.The ability to understand and explain regulatory requirements clearly.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail and an ability to use emerging technologies to get things done faster and simpler.Good written and verbal communication skills.A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn.A legal background is a plus, but not essential.If you have a desire to take on complex work/projects then we would love to hear from you!Working at CommBankAt CommBank, we support our people with the flexibility to balance where work is done with at least half their time each month connecting in office.
