Job Title: Senior Salesforce QA/Automation TesterContract: Initial 5 month engagement with potential extensionRate: Competitive hourly rate (negotiable based on experience)About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce QA/Automation tester to join our Melbourne-based team on an initial 6-month contract. This pivotal role involves leading the quality assurance efforts for our Salesforce implementations, focusing on test automation, data migration, and effective stakeholder collaboration. The position requires a hands-on, independent operator with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of Salesforce testing methodologies.Key ResponsibilitiesTest Automation Development:Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium. Ensure comprehensive test coverage across functional, regression, and performance scenarios within Salesforce applications.Data Migration Testing:Lead testing efforts for data migration projects, particularly focusing on Data Cloud integrations. Validate data integrity, transformation processes, and successful migration outcomes.Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and define test strategies. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to report on testing progress and defect status.Contribute to the enhancement of testing processes and methodologies. Stay updated with industry best practices and incorporate them into the testing lifecycle.Extensive Testing Experience:Minimum of 10 years in software testing, with at least 3 years focused on Salesforce platforms.Test Automation Expertise:Proven hands-on experience with Selenium for test automation (min 4-5 years). Ability to develop and maintain automated test scripts and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.Data Migration Testing:Experience in testing data migration processes, with a strong understanding of data integrity and transformation principles.In-depth understanding of Salesforce functionalities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Data Cloud. (min 2-3 years with SF).Ability to work autonomously, manage time effectively, and deliver results with minimal supervision.Communication & Stakeholder Management:Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels and convey complex information clearly.If you are looking to start a new contract role, apply now.
